Police Bali arrested two people over the shooting who killed one Australian and seriously injured another.
Zivan Radmanović, 32, was stabbed immediately after midnight on Saturday after two men broke into his villa in Munggu, in the south of Indonesian tourist island.
One of the suspects was arrested in Jakarta, in the capital of Indonesia, while the second was caught abroad, police said without giving more details.

Sanar Ghanim, who was also shot, received treatment because of his injuries in the hospital. The local police say it was also beaten by a 34-year-old.
Wife of G. Ghanima testified to see the attackers. No women were injured either.
Police say they still explore the motif of shooters, but did not provide additional arrest details on Monday.
They collected 17 bullets, two intact missiles and 55 bullets of fragments from the scene.
The pictures of the villa published by the Australian media show a bullet holes in windows and blood spots on the floor.
Several witnesses said to the police to hear that shooters speak in English with strong Australian accents.
One wore an orange jacket with a dark helmet, while she remained wearing a dark green jacket, black mask and a dark helmet, according to witnesses.
“I can’t start my own bike,” one of them said, before he eventually managed to fly to the scooters, they added witnesses.
The incident took place in Bali’s tourist district of Badung, where many famous beaches like Kuta and Canggu.
A violent crime is relatively unusual in Bali, which attracts millions of international visitors a year.
