President Donald Trump said he identified the customer for American Social Media App operations owned by Chinese BiteTesance Ltd., but will not provide details for two weeks.
“By the way, we have a tiktok customer. I think I’m likely to need probably China’s approval and I think that the president of X.I probably do,” he said, referring to the Chinese Lider Xi Ćaste, in the interview Fox News Week in the morning Futures with Maria Bartirom. “It is a group of very rich people.” The interview, which broadcasted the week, was filmed on Friday.
Trump previously said that the deadline for the sale of US-tiktok was expanded for the third time, which would give the company 90 days after 19. June.
The Congress adopted the law last year, which requires judgments, inviting national security concern. According to the law, the president is allowed to call for one extension.
The movement at the agreement is largely stopped with trade relations in the US China is muted in larger tensions in relation to tariff negotiations.
