The Russian warship was disguised on the fake signal ID during travel through the English channel with two sanctioned oil tankers, found BBC verified the investigation.

Bokii – Corvette armed with guided missiles – broadcasts a fake ID code as it passed through the channel on Saturday.

On the monitoring websites, it was misled as ships previously used by that ID. The BBC Verify matched the Boki ID using satellite images, data tracking and a video that passed under the bridge in Denmark.

It traveled together with two vessels known to be part of the Russian “fleet” – the network of tankers whose property can be darkened and used to transport sanctioned oil products.

The BBC Verified approached the Russian Embassy in London for a comment. But experts said that the BBC checked that the recent Western moves against the shade fleet may be encouraged by Moscow to use their army to protect tankers.

Last month, Russian Jet Fighting Jet was walking past the sheath of the shadows and entered Estonian airspace after the country tried to intercept the ship, which is suspected of wearing sanctioned oil.

“The action is designed to distract the UK and other NATO countries, because the presence of military escorts increases the risk of conflict,” said Dmitrir Gorenburg, said the older scientist research scholar.

The first is attracted to the Boky on social media by the independent intelligent open source Analyst Christian Panton on Blueski.

The ship is known that the ship left West Africa in June, where he participated in the diplomatic mission. Photos Posted online showed that the ship was connected in Guinea capital, Conakri.

However, a ship traveling under a generic identification number of 400000000 – Code that sometimes use ships that want to warn others for their security reasons without identification – briefly seen near Canary Islands.

The location is in line with the time that could take the boiki to cross 200km from the cunning. Satellite images Reviewed by BBC Verify showed a 100m-long boat, matching boicks dimensions and distinguish it from other vessels that used ID.

Frederik Van Lokeren – Analyst and former lieutenant in the Belgian Navy – noticed that bokies were unusual for Russian naval vessels.

“Usually, if the Russians want to stay hidden in secrecy, they just turn off their AIS signal,” he said. “So, for them to camoulate like something else … It’s very, very unusual.”

Boikii later joined two oil tankers who broke from India through Suez Channel and through Mediterranean – Sierra and Nakos. Both ship sanctioned United Kingdom.

Three vessels everyone met at the mouth of the channel 20. June. Here the Russian naval boat reappeared at the radar and optical satellite pictures, allowing us to confirm that it was the size and shape that matched the Bokii.

The napis reached the entrance to the canal for several days earlier than other ships and waited for a warship before continuing to the canal.

The Source of the Ministry of Defense in the UK confirmed BBC to confirm that the royal navy in the shadows hasted Boiki as she passed through the channel.

The satellite images taken by the BBC Verify seemed to show that the ship’s repunition of the boxing while crossing the waterway, but we cannot confirm that it was the royal ship ship.

All three vessels moved towards the Baltic Sea, where Boikii was still traveled under the fake AIS marker – was recorded under the big bridge of belts in Denmark.

Webcam shots showed that the ship clearly showed the naval vessel.

Its unclear where the containers are related to, although all three, they continued to sail through the Baltic and could move towards ports in continental Russia or Kaliningrad – exclusively between Poland and Lithuania.
