The American Vice President JD Vance called on Pope Leo to become the official visit to Washington after the “cordial” meeting of the Vatican, a white house confirmed.
Vance was encouraged by the Pontife’s letter of President Donald Trump and the first Lady Melania Trump calling him in his visit, “as soon as (he) could probably,” said the White House spokesman Karolin Leavitt.

EPAPope Leo, who became the first American to lead the Catholic Church earlier this month, and previously seemed to be the criticism of Vance and the attitude of the migration of Trump’s administration.

“Certainly our prayers go with him as this starts this very important job,” Vice President said.
