Gunmen storm Mexican village hall and shoot dead mayor


Gunmen in the latest deadly attack on local officials killed the mayor of the Mexican Municipality of San Mateo Pinas.

The witnesses said that four armed men reached the motorcycles, the farm was decayed and opened fire on the mayor, Lilia Gem Garcia Soto and a local official who was at a meeting with her, Eli Garcia Ramirez.

The two municipal police officers were also injured in the attack.
