The soldiers were seized in the Vebel Region, the Rebel Group group, which is engaged in production and trade in cocaine.

Mr. Sanchez blamed the EMC for what he described as the soldiers of “kidnapping”, saying that the locals seized them ordered to do the rebels.

As soldiers are ready to be suspected by the mountainous area, they were surrounded by more than 100 people.

The second military unit was then seized next day even greater group of locals, General Erick Rodriguez Colombian army said.

He was not the first time that members of the security forces detained the locals, but the size of a group of soldiers was unusually great.

In past similar cases, locals negotiated with humanitarian groups and trapped soldiers were published relatively quickly.
