Canada talks about joining American Gold Dome Rocket Rocket Programs

Canadian Prime Minister Marki Carney said that the “high levels” conversations take place with the United States about joining the “Golden Dome” rocket defense, aimed at opposing futuristic threats.

U.S. President Donald Trump presented a plan for a new rocket defense system on Tuesday, announcing the initial total cost of $ 25 billion ($ 18.7 billion). He said that Canada was interested in joining the project.

There are doubts from experts on how the United States would deliver a comprehensive system and it is unclear that Canada would participate or how much she would pay.

“It’s something we look and something about the high level was discussed,” Carney’s complaints was on Wednesday.

Carney asked Wednesday, who will join the Canada at the headquarters of the Cabinet on Wednesday, will Canada join a military project and how much they will spend.

“I won’t put Cenovo,” Carney began at this stage.

“We are aware that we have the ability, if we choose it, to finish the gold domestics and partnership,” he said.

“But I’m not sure one negotiated that. These are military decisions. And we will assess it accordingly.”

Canada’s open to join the proposed gold domes system is underway undergoing constant trading and security negotiations between the two countries, after Trump threatened steep tariffs on Canada and said that he would be better as a US state.

This is a galvanized wave of national patriotism in Canada, which attributes to the adoption in the historical choice of winning the Carney’s Liberal Government.

The Carney spokesman earlier confirmed that the talks were to take place on the issue.

“Canadians gave a strong mandate to the prime minister to negotiate a comprehensive new security and economic relationship with the United States,” said Audrey Cham Champouk.

“To that end, the Prime Minister and his ministers have broad and constructive discussions with their American colleagues,” she said.

“These discussions naturally include the strengthening of norads (North American administrative Aeronautics Command) and related initiatives such as gold domes.”

Trump said Tuesday that Canada has expressed interest in being part of a gold dom.

“I’ll talk to them,” said American president. “They also want to have protection, so usually, we help Canada.”

Trump said that the new rocket for the Defense of Golden Doma followed the end of its time in office and would cost $ 175 billion. He added that his administration is looking for Canada to “pay his share fair”.

But the Budget Office not by Partizan Congress estimated that the possible price could be $ 542 billion over 20 years, in parts of the system based on space.

Canada and the United States who are already partners on Norad – a system responsible for aviation and maritime monitoring, warning and defense of the region can detect and record cruise missiles.

Norad has been established since 1958. years, and both countries have been engaged in discussions in order to modernize modernization.

Trump said the proposed gold domes to target all more sophisticated air weapons, including hypersonic rockets and turn on sensors based on space and intercepts.

He said that the system will be “capable of even intercepting rockets launched on the other side of the world or run from space”.

It was partially inspired by Israel’s iron dome, which the country used to intercept missiles and projectiles since 2011. Years.

Experts expressed doubt that the United States will be able to build a similar comprehensive defense system, given its larger terrestrial mass.

Shashank Joshi, Editor of Defense at Economist, said the BBC that the golden dome could use thousands of satellites to notice and follow the rockets, and then use the intercepts in the orbit to shoot them as they take off and take out.

He said that the American army would seriously take the plan, but it was unrealistic to be completed during the trump, and the huge expense would suck a large part of the US defense budget.
