Anthropic began to remove the “voice regime” for its Claude Chatbot applications.
Voice regimen (in beta for now allows Claude Mobile App users to have “Complete Speech Talks from Claude” and will arrive in English over the next few weeks, according to anthropic Official account on X and Updated documentation on the company’s website.
At least One user on x The reports gained access to voice mode late on Tuesday. By default, the anthropiona runs Claude Sonnet 4 Model.
“Voice mode … Allows you to talk to Claudem and hear the answers with voice, as easily used by Clauda when your hands are busy, but your mind is not” read Support page. “Voice mode transforms how you communicate with Claude … Display key points on the screen while Claude speaks (i) allowing you to talk to Claude and hear Claude’s voice responses.”
Numerous AI companies, including Openay, offer voice chat experiences for their values. Google, for example, Gemini liveWhile the XAI has a voice regime for Greek. Everyone allows users to communicate with slaves, instead of knocking, conversations feel more natural and more intuitive.
With an anthropic taste of voice regime, users can talk about things like documents and images and choose between five different voice options. Users can also cross between text and voice on flying and see a transcript and summary after conversation.
Ability has certain boundaries. Voice conversations are calculated on regular use caps – Anthropic says 20-30 conversations are what most free users can expect. Moreover, only paid subscribers of Claude can use the Google Vorkspace connector that allows voice mode to access Google Calendar and Gmail Emails (Google Docs Integration is exclusive for Claude Enterprise plans).
Anthropic CPO Mike Krieger confirmed The company worked on voice opportunities for Claude in an interview with financial times in early March. According to the report, Anthropic held conversations with Amazon, the main investor and partner of the company, and focused in the voice of AI Startup Jedanaenlabs, so that future voice characteristics for Claude could drive.
It is unclear which of these partnerships, if any, there was a search.
